Chris earned a Masters degree in Counseling from Oakland University and attained a post masters specialization in child and adolescent treatment. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Chris is also fully licensed by the State of Michigan. Additionally, she is certified by the National Institute of Trauma & Loss in Children (T.L.C.), as a trauma and loss specialist. Chris has experience with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages, in a variety of areas and settings. She specializes in individual and group treatment, perinatal bereavement, and grief and loss counseling. Chris also provides play therapy for younger clients. Chris is dedicated to providing professional and confidential services in a comfortable and nurturing environment, using a holistic approach to talking therapy.
In January of 2017, Chris was certified as a Reiki Practitioner (Levels I & II.) Chris now offers Reiki sessions in addition to traditional therapy.
